Visit the beach Scheveningen

The Hague is just around the corner from the busy Scheveningen beach; the ultimate seaside resort for a day of enjoyment. In the summer, you can lie on a bed along the sea or walk on the boulevard.

Scheveningen is for everyone. Enter the game hall with the family for the best games and then enjoy yourself in one of the luxurious beach bars. Below you will find certain activities that you can do in Scheveningen. You can reach Scheveningen by car or by public transport. You walk from the hotel 10 minutes to Ypenburg or Nootdorp station, where you have a direct connection to the center. Once you have arrived here, you can take the tram and you will be on the beach within fifteen minutes.

De Pier

Walk 'over' the water and enjoy a beautiful view of the sea at the end point. Experience pure fun on the Pier of Scheveningen and experience the real Beach feeling! Because of the many shops and eateries you will not be short of anything! There is so much more to experience on the Pier, enjoy a beautiful sunset from the Ferris wheel, which overlooks Scheveningen and the beach.

Beelden aan Zee
The Museum Beelden aan Zee in Scheveningen is the only Dutch museum devoted exclusively to sculpture. It was founded in 1994 by the collector couple Theo Scholten and Lida Miltenburg. For more information click here.

The Boulevard

The boulevard of Scheveningen is the ideal place for shopping or to relax in one of the modern beach bars. Nightlife is very popular in this beach place. Get your feet off the floor at Grazy Pianos or enjoy a refreshing cocktail on the beach. The cozy atmosphere allows you to experience the ultimate holiday feeling together or with the family. From the boulevard you can easily walk to the shopping center; Palace Promenade in which many shops can be found. Do you like walking?
